Sorry, Brother Cash. I am away from the Obelisk and Church. Christmas shopping and all.
Joseph doesn't have the value to get us anything worthwhile so best to keep him. So between Johnson and Gourde I would say Gourde. He's paid a little bit more while also having an additional year left on his deal, he also has two full seasons till his deal becomes modified to one more for Johnson. If we moved him Joseph can slide into his spot on the 4th line, he won't provide the offense Gourde has but the hustle is there. He can't replace Johnson in the top 6. I don't see Stephens replacing Johnson and Verheaghe could somewhat he just won't be as good as Johnson.
So if Cooper is going to continue having Gourde on the 4th line, which I know is working, then you have to move him like we did Miller. Value wise I don't know if either Johnson or Gourde have more value than the other so the return should be similar. If Rutta is playing as well as he is I would like to see what he can do in an extended run. So what would we really be trading Johnson and Gourde to upgrade?
And Gourde says shove it when you ask him to waive
Precious Moments Tampa Bay Lightning® Fan Figurine
Nooooooooo! Why did you post this??? It's disgustingly adorable but I don't have room for more knickknacks and I don't need it and it would definitely impact my image as a serious hockey fan and...and...
I want it.
“Every Day Is A Goal With You”
Does that make sense?
If you think about a 'goal' as the destination, and not the journey.
I think I understand what they are going for but the wording doesn’t seem right to me
It is definitely awkward wording. But...
I still want it.
Yeah it’s cute. I think you are about my mother’s age and she collects things like that too. She has one I remember that has the Berlin wall with kids dressed as soldiers
I couldn't find a picture of the one I mentioned but she also has this one:
Great news guys! Hall is not going to the Avs.
just talked to an NHL insider and Hall to Arizona is almost finalized
The Lightning's Bad Defense is Finally Catching up to Them - The Point Data-driven hockey storytelling that gets right to the point.
Those black jerseys are atrocious and it seems we lose every game we play with them. When are they changing them?
*W (*-Is a Saturday "Win" but in the Blue Uni's < SWE)
So... 2-6-1 this season in Black / 3-6-1 on Saturday's
We're spared this coming Saturday's outcome because the game is in D.C. - Unless they lobby to wear the black
I think last season was equally as scary and if I have time later I will pull those numbers
I was told this years defense is much better than last years because the names on paper > on ice results.
I wouldn't be opposed to signing Kovalchuk to something cheap. I ask myself how much worse can the guy possibly be than CV, Joseph or Volkov when he was roughly .500 PPG with a bad Kings team.
Doesn't matter to me if it doesn't happen but it crossed my mind
We don't need a soft ass player like him, I will take Joseph speed all day over Ilya
The Lightning should be in on the Taylor Hall trade sweepstakes
An idea: from Vasy's perspective, with these black uniforms, it seems like it would be a lot more difficult to pick out a small, black puck flying at you---with all your defenders in front of you dressed all completely in black.
He's got charts in his article. Good enough for me.
That's probably the worst excuse I've heard like ever.
