Myers might make about 5.9 million more dollars than I will this year, but on the other hand, the entire country didn't watch me roof a shot and blow out my own teammate and single-handedly Charlie Brown the other team to victory. So we're both rich in our own ways. :)

I just watched the goal, hilarious. Although puck going off post, off Hellebuyck's bum and into the net for shootout goal was also pretty Charlie Brownish and good for a laugh.

I mean, it's only to one decimal place, so yeah, when rounded to the nearest $100,000...

Petan on waivers. Maybe we want him back with Little's injuries?

    Making space for Hyman?

Maybe the Oilers take a chance on him. Really really hope we don't claim Marancin.

They probably have Chevy duct taped to his office chair until after the waiver deadline to prevent it

    "Must....claim....Marincin"
    "No, Kevin, NOOOO"

Actually, would he be any worse then Sbisa or Potato?

Jets are already going to struggle with these extra bodies now that Niku is healthy. I don't see them going for more depth D.

Is it a better option than having Wheeler at the C position?

Wheeler and scheifele need to be split up. Whatever that looks like is fine with me. Petan is an AHLer. No shame in that. Just not nhl.

Has it been 2 million years or 3 million years since we heard that petan would never in a million years would he pass thru waivers. Think it's his 2nd time thru waivers. copp is a better option and he is no option at all at 2c.

I feel like as a fan base we are at out quota of drama and torture this season. More Petan debate would get this to a comedic level.

MacKinnon hurt in last night's game. Haven't read if it is long term or not. But we think we have problems? Their entire first line is out and absent! Of course, same could be said about ours...

Somehow they're still Top 3 in the division...they've been a bit lucky though.

Robbi Fabbri with 2 goals tonight. Who would have thought trading the high potential guy for a 12th/13th forward grinder could backfire?

Don't think the Blues see it as a backfire. He's not top 12 there and they moved him as a favour to him more than anything.

Fabbri might not have been top 12...but he certainly should have been. Is a guy like MacEarchern, de la Rose, Sanford better than him? No. I'm not even a big Fabbri fan I dont think he's that great but talent beats all, I dont care much about "role". The best talents win out whether that's a grinder (which can be very good like a Marchand) or "skill". The roster can and should accommodate.

Put your best 18 skaters out there and you have the best chance. As I said in last night GDT as a coach I understand how biases factor in, but you as a coach have responsibility to see past that and coach up whsts lacking in your players. Problem is coaches would rather safety blankets than riskier that result in most wins.
