USGS calling yesterday's 6.4 quake a foreshock of today's 7.1 quake. Considered part of a earthquake sequence. (The quakes have been going up an L shaped run.) Perhaps a 5% chance that this 7.1 quake is a foreshock of an even larger quake. They don't know how long the sequence will continue (until it ends).
