Primeau sent down Lindgren called up
But what about ruining Primeau...
The move makes sense. There's no back to backs coming up so they'll likely go with Price right through the holiday break. Better to have Primeau in Laval for the time being.
Great move, like we have said. Get him games in Laval and let him develop, kid needs to play not ride the bench.
If Lindgren doesn’t play, perfect move !
I think it's because they want to keep Price hot. They don't want to play Primeau once every 3 games, which is the minimum he needs.
It will be interesting to see if Primeau gets called up for the next back to back and Price plays all the games until then.
Good move. I was surprised Primeau was called up first as he was going through his first struggles in the AHL at the time of the call up, and Lindgren was having much better performances then. But Primeau did very well and gave everyone a taste of what's to come with him.
Could it also be a case of primeau being showcased if needed in a blockbuster?
Better late than never.
I won't flat out say no because we never know. But I highly doubt it was a showcase. They're banking on Primeau to be Price's eventual replacement. They trade him away, they will have to find the heir apparent all over again.
Lindgren gets NHL pay to sit on the bench and ride planes. Good deal for him
Just get rid of Kinkaid to call up McNiven to Laval.
I agree, but i if a key trade is to happen, you dont get quality without giving quality, so maybe, this would be one of cases.
Good move but lindgren is kincaid bad
Agreed. It takes quality to get quality. But I think Habs would give up other key assets before Primeau. Mainly because they have more depth in other positions than they do in goal.
He’s a one-way contract, so gets paid his full salary whether he’s in the NHL or AHL
Primeau will play for Laval this afternoon. If anyone is interested, the game will be at 3PM on RDS.
He is on a one way contract so he has been getting NHL pay since last season
I don't agree at all, Lindgren is an upgrade and can be inserted with a decent level of confidence
Charlie, I’ve got some good news and I’ve got some bad news ....
