according to the rumours, in the newly created International Hockey League with Slovenian, Croatian and Serbian teams

    Taken from Eurohockey.com

Seems to be talked about that the new league will be formed with an €800 entry fee. News comes after HK Beograd are no longer in the Hungarian MOL Liga

League will have basically the same teams as last year. Good thing is that there is some effort on marketing field and establishing a name for a league, but I don't expect a rise in quality (compared to last year). Quality of hockey there would be kind of D2A, way lower than MOL. Anyway, with some marketing hopefully it will rise to former Slohokej's glory.

p.s. It was funny when the entry fee was 5000 €, I mean, come on... all teams together would hardly collect that kind of money.

It's a beer league so no real marketing effort has been made, statistics can be found on hokej.si and they are updated day after a game.

On hokej.si you can find live scores when games are played (but usually they are not played according to schedule, you have to follow team's facebook pages to know correct dates of games and probably the best source of related information), video2go.live sometimes has live transmissions of matches on youtube, mostly Bled and Triglav... and that's about that, nobody really is interested in this league and it's a shame that hockey fell so low here.

Sorry for all the negativity, feel free to ask further questions

Its hard in a region, where is football a religion. Then basketball, handball, volleyball and water sports.

The sports culture in the region is pretty diverse, that's not bad for hockey. But having an ambassador like Kopitar also in the future would be good.

Is there any information about this league yet? I may be vacationing in Slovenia in early October and was looking for a schedule, but can't seem to locate one. The individual team sites only seem to list games a couple weeks in advance.

I'd just suggest keeping an eye on some of the bigger teams websites. I've just checked too and its as you say, just a few months in advanced so far.

check the dates a week upfront on hokej.si (in a dark gray header area, where scores are, future matches are designated with blue color and text "Napovedana" - scheduled) or team facebook/web pages. After that they usually don't change date/time of a match.
